The Freedom Enclosed steplift is a shortrise Vertical Lifting Platform which offers an aesthetically pleasing solution to the problem of short-rise wheelchair access outside and inside public buildings (or, where appropriate, domestic household situations) where it can travel up to 1000mm and incorporates a Gate to protect the upper level and a Gate on the platform to protect the user or carer from any risk of falling. 

The Freedom Enclosed steplift is highly suited to wheelchair users with carers and mobility impaired persons alike due to the semi-enclosed platform. 

The innovative design ensures that special emphasis has been placed on the needs of both the lift user and the building owner in facilitating compliance with the current disability legislation. Complies with Part M of the Building Regulations and meets the requirements of the Equalities Act 2010 (formally Disability Discrimination Act). 
The Freedom Enclosed Steplift operates on a compact scissor action, eliminating the need for an enclosure, support tower or ground pit although on internal application the Freedom Enclosed Steplift can be installed in a pit to eliminate the integral ramp.
